Mexico Beats France in World Cup!

Mexico's 2-0 victory over France in the World Cup today was very impressive. I don't think many people thought Mexico could beat France. Just like people didn't give Switzerland a chance to win over Spain yesterday, but they did. This is what makes the World Cup so exciting. Maybe there is even hope for the USA team!

  3. ohh Mr, Burnham a lot of surprises in 2010, isn't, from basketball to soccer. Any way congratulation. I congratulate Lakers for their 16th NBA championship and Mexico to their victory. Unexpected surprises in this world cup lets me change my thoughts to who will win this cup. the first surprise match tied between England and the USA. the second Mexico and France that French players thought the game was easy for them, but wasn't at that time. they were expected hard challenger team as well. today Germany beats Slovenia and I think another surprise in this game. The USA will beat Slovenia, and at 2pm my country Algeria will beat England. I don't think Algeria go far in this world cup. I watched Argentina and South Korea, the game was won by Argentina. I think Argentina want to show to the world their capability in this cup, and want to say we are here for the world cup, yes Argentina looks more challenger than any team with coach Maradona. Brazil another strong team. Every world cup it looks less challenge in the first round, and more comfortable in second round......!!!!

  4. Serena,

I'm sure my brother has tried QingDao beer! I will ask him next time I talk to him. I think he has tried every beer in the world. He likes beer..:)

Maybe you could write about your mother and her two brothers sometime. Big sisters can be good mother substitutes if a mother dies young. Sounds interesting.

    Thanks for your comments.

  5. Saiid,

Yes, there have been many surprises in the World Cup so far. That's what makes it interesting, for me. I will be watching Algeria play England this afternoon, and will be rooting for Algeria to win. Go Algeria! England will be beaten by Algeria. (passive sentence).

  7. hi every one
a lot of surprises in this world cup but hung on! France players didn't say their last word yet! they are capable to dramatically change the course of things up side down.as a good hunter i could say be aware of wounded animal .in fact they are morally down but mathematically if they beat south Africa by 4 and hope that Mexico beat Uruguay they will be fine, but as we all know arrangement could happens Mexico and Uruguay could agree to finish the game 0-0 to avoid injuries for players .consequently France and south Africa will be out.

  8. hi
USA vs Slovenia what a game !!!!2-2 but believe me i was surprised by the way Americans handled the game but i can assure the third goal was legitimate and there is no off-side Americans showed a maturity in the defensive and offensive side but i will be more than sorry my team (Algeria)will beat England today (i know it sounds like a fiction but Algeria play well against big teams)and as a dessert we will finish off with America sorry Jeff!!

  9. Hi Brahim,

Thanks for your comments. I agree with most of them. Except the one about Algeria beating the USA...:) I heard one of France's good players got thrown off the team for arguing with the coach. I wonder if this will hurt France's chances.
