The book report essay: Inform and persuade
Remember that there are three main reasons that we write: to persuade, inform and entertain (PIE). In a book report you want to inform and persuade the reader. Inform the reader of what the book is about by summarizing it. Then share your opinions about the book, what you liked and didn't like, to persuade the reader whether to read the book, or not.

Do I have to write my summary on the cover page before move down to write my introduction right??
ReplyDeleteYour summary should go at the end of your essay, not on the cover page.
ReplyDeletein summarizing a novel that you read, its really important, if people can sumarize the novel they read, they should be boyant to analyze what really happens in the book and explain to people to shows how they understood it. but remember the hook is the most important thing to get the readers attention
